It isn't so much fun when weather reports talk about high winds and predictions for waves of four (or one case recently, six) meters in the north of Tenerife. However, I've never been one for vegetating on golden sand beaches. I'd rather watch paint dry. My idea of a beach is one where the sea does interesting things and makes patterns when it crashes against the rocks, as it's doing here on Buenavista del Norte's most inaptly named, Playa de la Arenas (The Sands Beach). Sand is about the only thing this beach hasn't got! See where this picture was taken. [?]
