Part of the sand carpet made by the group from Rome, Italy at La Orotava in 2006. The coin in the sun's meter ran out when I tried to take this shot, but Jose Mesa has more images of this carpet here and a whole LOT of images of all the carpets in this set. Jose was obviously up much earlier in the morning than I was, so his photos are more interesting from the "making of" point of view as well.
