At around carnaval time (Feb-Mar) each year, La Orotava holds a Vintage Car Rally. (On the last Sunday morning of the carnaval in Santa Cruz too, you can see many of these cars gathering and cruising around the city.) For a relatively small island, there seems to be a considerable hidden population of these delightful classics.
