Villages of the Canary Islands are dotted with old buildings such as this - and with weed-like geraniums that have found a home in the crevices and corners, adding to the charm and colour. This one is in Chio, close to Guia de Isora, on the south west of Tenerife and, despite looking considerably worn down, was actually still in use.
